Linear Equations
The purpose of this project was to learn about linear functions. We had to create an art piece the revolved around round a specific linear function, for challenge options we could create a exponential growth linear function. What I did from my linear growth Art piece was first a painting of the cityscape with the buildings in the background growing 1 inch each time until the Empire State building where it grew several inches, showing exponential growth. The next project that I didn’t was a model of the different galactic suns growing by 0.25 of an inch each time.
For my painting of the cityscape I started by finding reference images of a city and buildings to then trace onto my canvas. After I traced it onto my canvas I began to paint it, starting with the sky and then on to the buildings. After I finished painting it I outlined the different buildings. As for the model of the suns I started by shaping each one of them out of clay. First I sculpted our galaxies Sun, then Sirius, Pollux, Arcturus, Aldebaran, Betelgeuse, and then Antares. After I had bolted all the sons I painted them according to their color, Sirius being the white sun. Of red painted them I set them up on their stand and glued it altogether.

This is my graph for the suns the function was "y=x•0.25" y being the diameter and x being the number of sun

I believe that I used unlimited potential in this short project because I was able to create two projects that I put a lot of effort into making and I did a challenge option. As well as the painting and modle I made turned out looking good.
