The if numbers could talk project was a project where we looked at different types of numeric valuations. The valuations included imaginary units, rational units, irrational units, and exponents. After we look at all of these valuations we personified them and gave them human characteristics and then told the story with them. My group looked at ours as a café seen. We showed each of the numbers interacting with each other and with other numbers in different ways to show the properties of each one. We use symbolism a lot in ours to demonstrate different properties of addition subtraction multiplication and division. To demonstrate each property we associated with the human characteristic, or societal characteristic. Division represented divorce, subtraction represented do people not becoming friends, addition represented two people becoming friends, and multiplication represented two people having a child. We showed all of these with rational and irrational numbers.
